A story about thaumata
I met Thaumata, and I fell in love. And now we’re getting married
is to hug him. i get the feeling nobody did it enough.
because nothing in my life was ever the same after he touched it.
i had the immense pleasure of catching front row center joni seats a while back, and she did a beautiful job. i didn’t think i’d get a chance to see her ever, so it was absolutely a red-letter night.
RL was signing CDs in the bookstore I worked at when I asked him to sign a poster I had snagged. While he was happily obliging, he asked i I’d make it to his show later on. I explained that I was only 20 for a month longer and wasn’t allowed. He literally dropped everything, gestured to one of his crew and said, “you see this girl? put her on my guest list and make sure she gets in.”
and i did. When I walked in, he looked up, said, “Alright!” and continued with his solo. haha… he was really great. a treasure to the genre.
I first met Michael Moore when I caught him on AIM one night (this had to be in oh.. 2000? 1998? so long ago..) and taught him how to make digital smiley faces. :) :) :)
I later actually met him at a taping for the Awful Truth. He was really fantastic.
I’m debating moving my blog to this site. Just what I need is another site, but it seems more likely to result in something productive than other places I’ve been.
This site confuses me. I’m not sure if it’s in question or not, but this is really me. I swear. If you don’t believe me, you can go believe something else, then.
